Kenwood Ladies’ Pond is a stretch of water and secluded meadow area off Millfield Lane, on the East side of Hampstead Heath in North London. Only women and girl swimmers over 8 may enter.

Kenwoood Ladies’ Pond Association (KLPA) is a voluntary organisation of women who care about the pond. Its main aims are:

  • To promote the interests of the users of the pond
  • to represent their views to the authority responsible for Hampstead Heath
  • to cooperate with staff in the proper running and maintenance of the Pond so that it may continue to be a quiet, peaceful place for women and girls to bathe, swim and relax.
