Notes for Editors

This event has been arranged by Fliqio, short film specialists, in collaboration with Wild Things Publishing.

Fliqio CEO Melanie Reed says 'As our natural environment becomes more and more threatened by global warming and encroached upon by urbanisation wild swimming spots are becoming more scarce and less accessible to the general public. Our aim is to evoke the sense of wonder and feeling of wholeness that comes with being completely immersed in nature through our screening; and encourage people to get out and experience wild swimming for themselves with the 'Wild Swimming Walks' guide books.'
